Studium 2024 just wrapped up: four days of pure inspiration and experience, sharing new perspectives on tile design and innovative surface solutions at Taj Amer, Jaipur.

During the event, we had the opportunity to unveil the new concept “From Tiles to Surfaces”, a new way to look at surfaces, and showcased our new collections Riga, and Planum. Also added new designs in Lithic and Marbles, alongside a new surface, Soft Naturale.

Innovative surfaces: new collections and designs

The exhibit area showcased our latest designs and surfaces. Drawing inspiration from nature,and transforming material, to the creation of harmonious and balanced surfaces that enhance every living space.

  • Riga, “line” in italian, one of the fundamental signs of design, channels the versatile essence of architectural concrete, as a construction material, a medium and a tool for expression, in four different iterations of this design concept: with lines (Rigato), stripes (Striato), squares (Quadri), and flatness (Planum).

These designs can be used alone or combined together to create visually rich patterns and convey a natural, vibrant sculptural effect, through the interplay of texture and light. Crafted by skilled craftsmen who manually carved concrete walls for looking for the beauty of repetitive patterns full of human imperfections, manufactured with advanced micro-carving technology, to carefully engrave these man-made patterns on a large-size surface.

    • Planum is a tribute to the quintessential contemporary architectural material, concrete.

      With six different size options, and six chromatic variations ranging from cooler to warmer hues, Planum allows to achieve a variety of modulations, seamlessly fitting into any design project.
    • The Lithic collection expands with new designs, reimagining the inherent beauty and feel of natural stones.

      This series of designs faithfully replicates the vivid and authentic hues of natural stone, translating the harmony of its patterns and intricacies into the sintered stone. Versatile designs to dress and enhance every living space.

    During Studium 2024, we also launched new surface Soft Naturale: an innovative surface that elevates the visual and tactile experiences of the surfaces, allowing a higher level of refinement and translucency, and ensuring an overall enhanced performance.
