From April 20 to 26, Nexion returns to Milan Design Week with Architextures. Nexion Texture Atelier, an exclusive exhibition space conceived as a true style atelier in the heart of the Brera Design District, at Via Statuto 8. Architects, designers, and visitors are invited to step into the brand’s sartorial approach to matter, designed to bring a distinctive touch of Italian style to the interiors and architectures of the future as well as to the most ambitious urban regeneration projects worldwide.
Nexion has built its voice in the high-end surfaces scene through experimentation, working matter with meticulous care to see how light, colour, and texture change the way a space feels. This year, the research turns that idea up a notch, pairing the precision of industry with the instinct of craft to create surfaces you want to look at twice, and touch.
Inside the Atelier
The journey unfolds through two complementary perspectives. The first room tells the story of Nexion as a pioneer of structured ceramic surfaces. At full architectural scale, the Riga and Ombre collections stand alongside Nexion’s 3D-textured slabs as the language through which matter becomes architecture. These surfaces have carried the brand’s name internationally, from the 2020 Red Dot Award for 3D textures to the 2026 iF Design Award for Ombre.
The second room shifts the focus inward. Inside display cases conceived as precious treasure boxes, inspirational content previews the brand’s next aesthetic direction, a new chapter of iridescent surfaces inspired by Shantung silk: its front and reverse, its irregular weave, and the language of seams, embroidery, and stitching. A teaser of ceramic haute couture.

Nexion at senzaFINE by Simone Micheli
Beyond Brera, Nexion takes part in INTERNI Materiae at the Università degli Studi di Milano (Via Festa del Perdono 7), as a partner of “senzaFINE – beyond space limits”, the installation curated by Simone Micheli Architectural Hero in the Cortile d’Onore from April 21 to 30. Conceived as a reflection on the new standards of high-end hospitality, the installation offers a second stage where Nexion’s surfaces contribute to the architectural language of luxury interiors worldwide.
