Riga Rigato Bianco
Riga Rigato Bianco
Four interpretations of the architectural use of the manually carved concrete. To create visually rich patterns and convey a natural, vibrant full-empty sculptural effect, through the interplay of texture and light.
Riga: “line” in Italian, one of the fundamental signs of design. But also RIGA: acronym of Research and Inspiration from Graphic and Architecture, with the goal to re-interpret the architectural use of concrete.
A product perfectly balanced between creativity and technology, created by skilled craftsmen who manually carved concrete walls looking for the beauty of repetitive patterns full of human imperfections. Manufactured using the laser micro-carving technology to carefully engrave these man-made patterns on large-size ceramic surfaces.
Four interpretations of this design concept, with lines (Rigato), stripes (Striato), squares (Quadri), and flatness (Planum), to be used alone or together, to create very impactful patterns, conveying vibrant full-empty sculptural effects, through the interplay of texture and light.
