The essence of Nexion lies in creating sintered stone surfaces of the highest aesthetic and qualitative level, a synthesis of creativity and technical skills, at the service of architects and interior designers. Nexion is a joint venture born from the merger of two large family groups that are protagonists of the sector: Ceramiche Speranza, an Italian company founded in 1961 with the mission of bringing the excellence of Italian ceramics to an international level, and the Aghara family, active in India with Simpolo, a company created in 1977 and today one of the Indian leaders in the production of ceramics and sanitary ware.

A balanced matrix of evolution, research, tradition and experience

With an Italian matrix, Nexion International is the Indian manufacturer of sintered stone slabs—the most premium segment of the ceramic market in India. It is an amalgam of two of the largest family groups in the industry—Ceramiche Speranza and the Aghara Family. Founded in 1961, Ceramiche Speranza started with the mission of spreading the excellence of Italian ceramics on a global level and Simpolo, owned by the Aghara family was founded in the year 1977 and is one of India’s leaders when it comes to the production of ceramic and bathroom fixtures today.

Thicknesses, formats and surface effects are becoming ever more versatile and at the service of the project, providing architects and designers with an articulated abacus of solutions capable of reinterpreting ceramics with creative freedom.

Going beyond natural inspiration to create unique designs with great visual impact is the goal with which Nexion, a joint venture that combines Italian aesthetics and technology with the integrity and diligence of Indian manufacturers in the ceramic wall tiles sector, presents two new galleries at Cersaie 2022. The project was born in 2014 and developed starting from an already existing and recognized company in the Made in Italy panorama, Ceramiche Speranza (owner of Emilgroup), which joins forces with the Aghara family, at the top of Simpolo, one of the main Indian leaders of ceramic and sanitaryware production.

At the Bologna fair, there are not only tiles and bathroom furnishings, which are the categories represented in a more massive way and in different pavilions.
