Statuario Caldo

A premium version of a timeless classic. A passionate interpretation where nothing is left to chance.

Statuario marble is extracted from the Tuscan quarries of the Apuan Alps in Italy. Its ure and brilliant white background is enlivened by very delicate and irregular grey veins.

Reinterpreting the stone, we gave maximum emphasis to the neutral bright white of its background, by eliminating the major contaminants to obtain a cleaner refined design, still preserving the natural look of the stone. We also distributed veins more proportionately, designing a fluid movement between the main ones, which establish the ascending direction, and the more nuanced ones, which go in different directions.

The result of this redesign is a design surface collection that softens the original rigidity of the natural marble, obtaining a  dynamicharmonious look yet natural.
