Travertine, a limestone-based natural stone quarried mainly in the Italian regions of Lazio and Tuscany, has long been celebrated for its noble character and enduring beauty — so much so that in the world of design, it is often regarded as a marble. The variety that inspired Nexion’s Travertine Ash features a soft ash-grey base animated by fine, linear or gently undulating veins in hues of cream and hazelnut. These subtle movements evoke centuries of craftsmanship and the quiet grandeur of classical architecture.

In our reinterpretation, we carefully selected an exceptionally refined stone, preserving its minimalist rationality and delicate texture. The more pronounced veins were softened, and the undulating lines refined into a more measured rhythm, achieving perfect visual balance.

The result is a material that, even in its industrial expression, retains the authenticity and nuance of its natural origin — a modern classic that unites purity, refinement, and understated luxury.
